o1 In 1999, I presented a multimedia presentation called, The last celestial phenomenon of the 20th century – The Solar Eclipse. It was a demonstration of Team Teaching at the Hansraj Jivandas College of Education.
o2 In 2000, I was part of the dance programme team that was held ‘The Tagore’ festival – a cultural festival of dance, drama and exhibition on the life and works of Rabindranath Tagore.
o3 In 2001, I was part of the team that organized ‘Mathfuntasia’ – a celebration of Math; through Dance, Drama and Exhibition. Topics were given to the children as projects. Then the collected information was put up as models and posters for an exhibition.
o4 In 2001, I was also part of a two-member team displayed the Vedic Math section of the math festival.
o5 In 2002, I was part of the team that organized ‘The Environment Festival’. As the Environmental Studies teacher, I held an exhibition on the problems faced by the environment and their solutions. Topics were given to the children as projects. Then the collected information was put up as models and posters for the exhibition.
o6 In January 2004, I was a part of a five-member organisation team that held the ‘42nd World Education Fellowship Conference’ at the Gujarat Research Society, the education society that runs Jasudben M L School. The conference was attended by about 115 eminent educationists of today from across the globe. Co-authored the publications released during this conference.

Worked on project: Homi Bhabha Curriculum for Primary Science (Book III)
Nature of Job: I was a member of Dr. Ramadas's team. My duties included assisting her to write the third standard science textbook for primary science.
My contributions as a Project Assistant have been:
o1 Reference work (From Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education, Bombay Natural History Society libraries, Mumbai Grantha Sangrahalaya (library), Bhabha Atomic Research Centre and other libraries.)
o2 Created and Tested Activities Exercises Ideas and Kits on the basis of class room trial which took place at the Atomic Energy School and Children's Aid Society between Dec' 96 and Nov '97.
o3 These contributed to the contents of the textbook, workbook and teacher's manual of the curriculum.
o4 Public relations work such as; approaching Principals of schools and convincing them to grant permission to test the activities and exercises of the curriculum with the help of their school children.
o5 Organized a Summer School at the HBCSE Centre for testing the curriculum in April - June '97.
o6 Prepared bibliography for III std. textbook and glossary for the teacher's manual.
o7 Prepared the Quotation sheet to award the contract for printing of the book.
o8 Followed up during printing and delivery.
o9 Translated the III Std. Textbook and Workbook into Hindi.
Some other work at HBCSE is enlisted as follows:
o1 To prepare the Biology Questionnaire Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Schools Talent Nurture program.
o2 To do Desktop printing of the I.W.C.B.L. report, which required the knowledge of Linux operating system, Adobe page Maker, basically required a computer savvy person
o3 Be the resource person for the practical sessions in the integrated laboratories and made notes on the lectures conducted during the course, which I later compiled into a Synopsis.
o4 Vermiculture project: I assisted Dr. B. S. Mahajan in conducting this 15-day project held on the east side of the H.B.C. S.E. gardens.
o5 Open Day: An open day was held for those interested in visiting the institute. For this, I researched and labeled all the plants and trees in the HB.S.C.E. gardens; conducted practical sessions in the integrated laboratories on crystal formation and the various types of rocks
o6 Wrote stories for the Homi Bhabha curriculum Science Textbook, on the basis of the activity logs maintained, during the classroom trials.
Appeared for the IVQ in teaching and training 1104 – through City and Guilds (London) in June 2005.
