I believe that the one who wants to improve his language skills will focus more on speaking and listening (at least in the beginning) and less on grammar. The most important factor in learning a foreign langauge is communication. Many students tend to focus on complicated grammar and vocabulary for TOEIC and IELTS and while they may do well in these tests, they still have problems using everyday language to communicate simple things.
Let me help you become more familiar with casual English. My name is Hamid and I have been tutoring and teaching English both online and in the classroom setting for several years to adults and children from various countries and cultural backgrounds. Originally from Atlanta, I have a neutral American accent and have lived in North America, Latin America, and East Asia. I have also studied various languages including but not limited to Arabic, Spanish, and Korean. I am certified to teach TEFL (or TESOL, if you please) as well as in Business English.
