this class offers the opportunity to read and discuss whatever works the student wishes. It can be as simple and discussion of themes , plots , and structures, or, it can focus on developing a thesis and improving writing techniques . All genres can be studied, including Drama, Poetry, Short Story and Novel. The emphasis, too, is to encourage the student to think independently and logically and to enhance the students ability to express their thoughts in a more lofty and sophisticated manner through writing.
