About me

I am a highly trained professional with experience in teaching Chinese as a second language for more than 5 years ever since my first year of the university, both in big classes and small group tutorial. As I’ve been trained to teach Chinese on a professional level, I know exactly how to adapt the way information can be explained to suit the learning style of the student I am tutoring, and when the student finally understands a concept it is indescribably rewarding! I’m enthusiastic, patient and encouraging in class. My main goal is to make our time effective, fun, and to increase the confidence and motivation in my students. Students report that working with me is much more efficient and less prone to language/cultural "hangups" that they've experienced with other tutors. I am able to customize learning materials for every type of student to study Chinese more efficiently.
