WORK EXPERIENCE Jeongeup Office of Education-South Korea, English Teacher-June 2009 -August 2011 Duties:  Working within the public school system teaching at 4 elementary schools at all grades and levels, either solely or with a Korean assistant. Carrying out the following duties:  Conducted English classes in 4 different schools during term time using course books and accompanying computer programme, the Internet.  Designed and used existing appropriate supplemental materials and other activities, including communication games and dialogues, to practise English language, ensuring varied activities are used to stimulate interest and aid learning.  Planned and taught different extra classes and short courses for academically challenged students during term time and vacations respectively.  Assessed the level of the students’ understanding and planned the syllabi and selecting course books with the results.  Conducted conversation classes for Korean elementary and designing materials for the teacher’s abilities and needs and interviewing students to assess their level of spoken English for grading purposes.  Organized and participating in a summer and winter camps for which each ran for two weeks.  Prepared material for booklets and brochures on assessing and teaching conversational English to students of different abilities  Summarising English reading books and editing pictures to be included as reading materials on the Internet as well as helping students with their speech contests.
