About me

I am available to tutor students in preparation for the Test Of English as a Foreign Language, also known as "TOEFL." TOEFL Exams: 1. iBT 2. PBT 3. ITP 4. Junior Standard/Comprehensive TOEFL determines a non-native's ability to use and understand English in an academic setting. The Standard/Comprehensive test is generally given to students ranging from 11 to 14 years of age, for a general assessment of middle school-level English-language proficiency. The other tests have become a requirement for admission to U.S. colleges and universities. More and more, the TOEFL, or variations of it are becoming a required test in American businesses and other institutions where English language proficiency is a necessary requirement for employment. Non-native students from the age of 15 years and up, who are considering or planning to attend a U.S. school of higher learning, should invest in a minimum of three 'tutored' sessions to determine your overall strengths and weaknesses in the areas required to pass the TOEFL. ESL/ESOL Adult ESOL (English Students of Other Languages)teaches adult students to effectively read, speak and understand English. Students also learn how to function in society through role-playing, writing and speaking in everyday situations where English is required (Finding a job, talking with their child's teacher,renting/buying a home, etc.) My "Certificate In English Language Teaching:TEFL/TESOL Teacher Training" covers teaching English as a foreign language as well as to speakers of "other" languages.
