English Conversation with an American Teacher
Master's in English Language and Literature and Bachelor's in Philosophy and English
Experience: 3 years
Hi! My name is Kassandra. I am a native English speaker from the United States. I grew up in Nebraska. This means I have a "General American" accent, with a "neutral" speech.
I have a Master's Degree in English Language and Literature, and a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy and English. I have worked as a journalist, a copyeditor of an academic journal, a researcher at a medical library, and a tutor in a university writing center. Therefore, I have extensive experience in working with English at an advanced level. I can help you improve your skills in English conversation, including reading, writing, listening, vocabularly, and pronunciation.
I will tailor each lesson to your personal goals. My teaching philosophy is to challenge students in an encouraging, friendly, and relaxed manner. I use Skype for my lessons. I prefer to teach English to intermediate/advanced students.
The services I offer include:
--General English Conversation (including corrections and help with: grammar, vocabulary expansion, pronunciation, sentence structure, etc.)
--Business English (including help preparing for presentations, business letters, interviews, business vocabulary and idioms, etc.)
--Proofreading and editing (including resume revision)
--Preparation with Medical English, or practicing clinical skills for American Medical Exams
1. All Lessons must be paid for and scheduled 24 hours in advance. If they are not, I will cancel the lesson.
2. If you do not show up for the lesson and you haven't cancelled 24 hours in advance, you will still be charged for the lesson.
I look forward to helping you expand your English. Please contact me for a free fifteen minute lesson so we can begin working on your language skills together!
My skype name is "kassandra.montag." For our first lesson, please add me as a contact or send me a message with your skype name so I will be able to call you. Thank you!
* Note: I am not currently accepting new students in order to focus more on my current students and my other work.
