About me

Briefly about me

My name is Margaret and I’m a CELTA certified teacher of English. I’ve been teaching English both online and in-person for more than 4 years now. As I speak at least three languages daily, I recognize the struggles that language learners might face and strongly relate to them (and to you as well!).

I help my students with general English (grammar practice, speaking practice, vocabulary development, etc.), test preparation (IELTS and TOEFL) and Business English (presentation delivery, writing a formal letter/a report/etc., preparation for the job interview, constructing CV’s/resumes, etc.)

My educational background:

  • Bachelor studies in Linguistics (English and French)
  • Bachelor studies in Management and Business Administration
  • CELTA (Grade A)

Where do we start?

As I truly believe that language learning is a very personal process, I must ensure that I, as a teacher, am able to help you improve your skills.

Therefore, before starting to study together, I’d like to learn more about you and the following points:

  • your level
  • your goals
  • your preferences/preferred learning styles
  • amount of time you can devote to language learning weekly

When I get your message, I’ll thoroughly analyse your needs and inform you about the learning possibilities.

What do we do before, during and after the Trial class?

After you book a Trial lesson, I’m going to send you a placement test to verify your level of English and ask you to complete it before our lesson.

During the Trial lesson, we are going to talk briefly about your completed test, your strengths and points you might need to work on. Also, we will discuss a potential Learning Plan, duration of the classes, learning style and any questions that you might have on your mind.

After we finish the Trial lesson, you’re going to receive a short report about your English (based on the test results and our Trial lesson) and suggestions for further improvement.

When you become my student you get...

  • the personalized Learning Plan
  • notes and recording of the lesson
  • online support after the lesson
  • homework assignments and correction

In case you cannot attend the lesson at the scheduled time, please inform me as soon as possible. If you inform me about your inability to attend the lesson less than 3 hours before the start of the lesson, you will be charged for it.

Recently I have created my first online course "Confusing English Vocabulary: Work and Travel". You can check it out here: If you have any questions regarding it, let me know, I will be glad to answer all your questions.
