About me

My greetings, everyone! Let's get acquainted!

I’m Henry, a professional American English and Russian tutor. And a translator with over 15-years of experience in the field of teaching and documentary, plus synchronous translation. I have a high education, worked in many companies as a translator, a manager of foreign trade activities, as well as a private school teacher, and a tutor of English language and Russian language. I have developed and now luckily apply my own teaching technique, with applications of some advanced standard British and American study methods for schoolchildren, students and businessmen using both personal and general text, audio and video material. I base my work on principles of professionalism, individual psychological and linguistic approach, and constant control of material absorption including monitoring of teaching quality. During the lessons I use thematic dialogues, games, crosswords, quizes and tests as an alternative way of tutoring. As a tutor I wish to see constant progress of a tutee, on a regular basis I specify homework with the subsequent check in practical implementation, also give the facultative task if needed. In the last lesson of the week I provide a quiz to a student as a self-assessment possibility.

And finally, during tutoring I build strong relationships with my tutees on mutual trust and respect with a friendly spirit.

I’ll be glad to be useful! Feel free to address!

Best regards and wishes! See you and hear you on Skype!
