The aim is to provide students with the ability to critically analyse the attributes of branding and to strategically manage a brand in the marketplace.
Students will also learn how to critically evaluate the importance of strategic advertising as an integral part of brand building and the importance of strategic planning for brand communications.
Emphasis will be placed on how to evaluate and analyse ‘brand equity’ and why brand communications is critical for the manufacturer, retailer and consumer.
