I currently work in Mexico teaching private English classes to native Spanish speakers.
While attending University, I tutored ELL (English Language Learners) middle school students in English conversation and grammar for three years.
I am a Registered Nurse and have experience teaching patients and families about disease processes, treatment plans, and basic medical vocabulary. I have also lead workshops on diet & exercise, prenatal care, and care for the patient with cancer.
Experience: 4 years
I am a native English speaker from Seattle, Washington. I'm now living in Mexico, learning Spanish and teaching English classes. I teach a range of students, from basic conversational English to preparing tour guides and doctors.
My goal is for classes to be interesting and engaging for the student. I focus on grammar, building vocabulary, and gaining confidence in speaking and expression. This is your class, so I tailor the experience to your needs. I also like to use a variety of mediums including worksheets, videos, podcasts, and music.
