Struggling to pass or trying to ace a class? Either way, I'm the tutor for you!
My bacholor's degree is a BS in Secondary Education. While teaching high school I completed my master's degree, an MS in Mathematics. I have formally taught and tutored for over 30 years. But even prior to that time, I was often the center of study groups while my friends and I prepared for tests and exams.
Experience: 30 years
I have taught math for over thirty years. During that time I have taught at elementary, middle and high schools, but most of my teaching has been at colleges. At colleges I taught remedial math, tech math, finite math, statistics, algebra, trigonometry, precalculus, calculus (one semester, calc I, calc II, calc III) and linear algebra.
My expertise is identifying the missing building blocks needed to master new material. Filling the gaps will allow you to understand the new material and have success in your class - and success feels great.
If you need help passing a class or trying to get an "A", I can help. I also offer many lines of recreational math which is rarely taught in schools. If you have interest in polyhedra and/or the golden ratio, I have a lot to share with you.
