About me

AMERICAN ENGLISH CONVERSATION VIA WEBCAM

My method of teaching is to have conversations with the student and correct them as we go along. If the student has any questions, of course they can ask me their questions as they pop up. If the student wants to go over anything that requires English such as a school homework assignment, a test, a job interview, or any other similar situations, I am here to help.

Hi Students,

My name is Brad Koerner and I'm an American online English tutor. I'd like to tell you a little about myself.

I was born in Chicago, Illinois in the United States. In my 20's I worked in Chicago as a stockbroker for a very large brokerage company. After 3 years of doing that I decided to travel around the world and I have lived in Paris, Barcelona, Singapore, Hong Kong and finally I settled in Thailand for more than 20 years.

I worked in movies and as a model in Hong Kong for 2 years. Then I moved to Thailand and for 20 years and worked as a photographer shooting fashion magazines for publishers worldwide.

While I was in Thailand I started to teach English as a second language to Thai students, both to earn extra money and because I enjoyed it. I taught private lessons such as one on one in a coffee shop and I also taught in classroom situations such as to the staffs of large Thai companies. I know what it is like to learn a foreign language as I have had to learn Thai while living in Thailand and the best way to learn a language is to try to speak that language as often as you can. My Thai is still not great, but it's not bad either. I keep working on it and enjoy learning it so practicing English should be fun for the student.

I also taught English via webcam for a Korean Company that was located in Bangkok, so I have a lot of experience teaching English via webcam.

I offer a free lesson so that you can see if I am a good fit for you.
