I attended Keene State College and earned by Bachelors in History with a certification in Secondary Education. I continued my education and earned a Masters in Special Education. For three years I worked as a tutor (history classes) and worked with students at the college until I graduated.
I earned my certification for Teaching English as a Foreign Language through International TEFL Academy, which includes teaching primary education through adults.
In the United States I worked for four years at a high school in a few different positions. I served as a Special Education Case Manager; co-teacher in the Social Studies department; 1:1 paraprofessional; and the coordinator of a structured study hall designed to help students in areas of weakness and provide the supports necessary for them to succeed.
Experience: 4 years
I spent four years working as a co-teacher in various Social Studies classes. My certification in the United States allows me to teach History; Geography; Economics; Government; Psychology; and Sociology to secondary students. My strengths are in history, geography, and government but I am willing / able to work with the other disciplines as well.
