I am a first year medical student at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA. I took Honors and AP Physics in high school and received a 4 on both the B and C portions of the AP tests. I went to The Pennsylvania State University where I took 4 Physics with calculus classes, receiving an A in all of them. I received a 12 on the physical sciences portion of the MCAT which is the 96th percentile. I have tutored many students in the past in this subject and helped them understand what the problems are asking them so they can break down the problems into managable bits.
Experience: 4 years
I promise to help you understand the concepts behind the problems we will be doing because I know Physics is a heavily conceptual science that requires abstract thinking. I too have struggled with physics problems but I am sure that by using different strategies to tackle the variety of problems, you will be more confident in your ability to work out problems and achieve better scores in physics!
