I have always been great at math and am currently taking higher-level math in university, where algebra 1 is merelay the base for the foundation of my mathematic knowledge. Algebra 1 is as easy as pie for me and I hope I can make it for your too!

Algebra 1 is like your ABCs! you must first learn the alphabet and its sounds before you can start forming and reading words. similarly, you cannot go on to any higher level of math, and yes that includes math classes you must pass for high school graduation, without knowing algebra 1. It is essential not just to educational requirements, but also everyday-life applications! So yes you need to know it!
