Carrie Sullivan is a Professional Language Educator, located in the greater New Orleans area of Louisiana, U.S.A. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish with a minor in English, she pursued her teaching license through extensive training from the Mississippi Association of Professional Quality Teachers and went on to obtain her Masters in the Art of Teaching Languages: TESOL from the University of Southern Mississippi. With nine years of language teaching experience at the Elementary and High School levels, Ms. Sullivan specializes in English as a Second Language for TOEFL preparation, Business English, and American Conversational Practice. She maintains professional, international standards and is experienced in teaching to various cultures and levels of understanding. Ms. Sullivan personalized every lesson to meet the specific needs of her students.

In this class, we will focus on strengthening conversational skills used in daily conversation in the United States; and can be regionally specific to the Southern United States, upon request. The goal of this class is to obtain conversational fluency by incorporating elements of American popular culture, slang, idioms, and age appropriate conversational skills into each lesson.
