Ph.D. Bioscience (Microbiology)
Experience: 6 years
Being with students of M.Sc. (Microbiology) for 6 years as a lecturer, my experience has polished me and made me to win the 'best teacher' position among students.
Beside teaching, cultural activities viz. dancing, singing has been my passion. I also get lost in books when I visit book stores and I feel motivated and refreshed when I read motivational books. I also love to write poems.
Anabolism and catabolism of biomolecules has always been a mysterious area for me. I always wonder how biochemical mechanisms provide us energy or any physiological work. Teaching this subject throughout my teaching tenure made me expert in this field.
study of natural sciences and all whys!, whats!, hows! ifs!, buts! related to existence of life has always been an area of keen interest for me. Miraculous life and its mysterious facts made me take biology as my special subject during my high school education and more I studied it throughout my academics more interest was developed. Such experience helped me to convey my knowledge among students for years.
Pathogens have been my favourite entities to be studied on. Everything about infection viz. infection establishments, escaping of pathogens from immune system, virulence factors and different mechanisms, pathogenicity islands, etc. have increased my interest to study it in detail. My extensive research on Salmonellosis made me understand the pathogenic mechanisms and in depth studies of host-pathogen interactions had driven me towards finding out new drug molecule against Salmonellosis.
