English conversations and grammar lessons
|languages||Chinese, English, Italian|
I graduated from the Department of Interpreting and Translation of the University of Bologna at Forlì, Forlì, Italy (July 2016) with a B.A. in Interlinguistic and Cultural Mediation. The languages I work in are Italian (my mother tongue), English, and Chinese and I also have basic skills in written and spoken Arabic. This school prides itself on training highly prepared mediators/translators with solid hands-on experience. Not only have I translated a wide range of text types such as literature, tourist brochures, and newspaper articles, but I have also translated business letters and documents.
Aside from my academic work, I worked as an intern for the Umbra Cuscinetti Company in Italy where I managed company client interactions and translated texts and e-mails from and into English and Italian.
Further more, I worked as an intern also for the Craft Central organization in London, where I managed deskwork, reorganized and updated the database and catalogued data on event participation.
I lived in the U.S for 2 years and I also lived in China for 6 moths.
I am passionate, determined, and hard working. Moreover, I work well in a team, as well as on my own; I meet deadlines and am eager to further enhance my proven linguistic abilities.
