English (ESOL, American, British)
|languages||English, Italian, Maltese, Spanish|
I've been teaching English to students of all ages and from all walks of life for well over a decade. I've taught large classes, small classes, one-on-ones, and online, and I've done so in both Malta and the US.
Levels I've dealt with range from Beginner ESOL to Advanced College English for American students.
Being able to speak Italian and Spanish fairly well as well as having a basic grasp of French and Arabic has helped to no end with my ESOL students.
My certifications include TEFL, TELT and an AA degree in Foreign Languages from Montgomery College, Maryland.
Experience: 11 years
I teach English (ESOL, American or British, whichever you require) to students of all ages and all levels. Whether you'd like to focus on grammar and technique, or you'd rather spend the lesson conversing on various topics, I make sure to keep it fun and interesting, as well as educational.
No question is unimportant, no idea mocked. I also recognize the individual needs and learning methods of each and every student; whether it's videos, discussions, games, quizzes, tests, or simply following a structured textbook, or a combination of it all - just ask, and it will be delivered.
Ideally, I want my students to feel like they can ask any question under the sun, as I feel "why" is more important than "what". I strongly believe that once our mind understands the "why" behind something, it's imprinted there permanently. My mission for you as your tutor is for you to come eager and leave enlightened.
