I am currently pursuing my dual degree - masters(MSc.Hons) in biological sciences and B.E.Hons in Mechanical Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science-Pilani. i have done many study oriented projects in biology including cancer biology, biochemistry, microbiology, biotechnology, recombinant DNA technology, cloning, protein expression, molecular biology, neuroscience and nueral networks. I am very much into biology both theoritically and practically. i have always learnt biology and not mug it up. my areas of interest are neuorobiology and animal physiology. I am currently thinking to do a project based on biomechancal engineering in which i'll try my best to link the concepts of both biology and mechanical engineering. i have been the TA(teaching assistant) in microbiology and cell biology. I have taught parts of these courses to the juniors and have assissted them in laboratory. Before getting into college, i have tught students basic biology,maths,physics,chemistr y,history,geography,civics,eng lish and hindi till school level. i used to give tutions to my juniors for free. i am highly dedicated towards academics and to educate people as well as. i am a member at abhigyaan(an NGO) who aims in teaching poor children whose families cannot support education financially. I am a very hardworking person and my aim is to irradicate uneducation completely from its roots. I am currently taking a course in molecular evolution for a bunch of 30 students.

Biology is a natural science concerned with the study of life and living organisms, including their structure, function, growth, evolution, distribution, identification and taxonomy. Modern biology is a vast and eclectic field, composed of many branches and subdisciplines. However, despite the broad scope of biology, there are certain general and unifying concepts within it that govern all study and research, consolidating it into single, coherent field. In general, biology recognizes the cell as the basic unit of life, genes as the basic unit of heredity, and evolution as the engine that propels the synthesis and creation of new species. It is also understood today that all the organisms survive by consuming and transforming energyand by regulating their internal environment to maintain a stable and vital condition known as homeostasis.
Sub-disciplines of biology are defined by the scale at which organisms are studied, the kinds of organisms studied, and the methods used to study them: biochemistry examines the rudimentary chemistry of life; molecular biology studies the complex interactions among biological molecules; botany studies the biology of plants; cellular biology examines the basic building-block of all life, the cell; physiology examines the physical and chemical functions of tissues, organs, and organ systems of an organism; evolutionary biology examines the processes that produced the diversity of life; and ecology examines how organisms interact in their environment.
