About me

Hello, Amber here :) I'm offering my considerable experience in test preparation to help you reach best possible results on SAT, GMAT or LSAT. Different as they are, all these tests require that you know the material, are prepared mentally and have a solid test-taking strategy. I teach every component of each test, be it verbal (reading comprehension, sentence correction and paragraph improvement, grammar and vocabulary, essay writing), math (quantitative skills, data sufficiency), or analytical reasoning (incl. logical games). My method is in tailoring the exercises to your particular needs, so first we take a little test were I evaluate your level of knowledge for each skill. We then discuss the errors, assess the weaknesses and take it from there. Generally, we build on your existing skills and develop them to reach the maximum possible level, however, if the skill is missing completely (say, you haven't had to deal with the particular type of question previously, like a GMAT Data Sufficiency), we start from scratch, and build it step-by-step. We establish personal rapport and certain level of trust, so your thoughts, your vision of the issues can be expressed freely in the essays. At the same time, I'm very result-oriented, with strong work ethics, and expect the same disciplined approach from my students.
