I was one of the few agents to break an account, which means that I was always assigned the newest and most difficult accounts so appropriate spiels and strategies could be applied to ensure that the company had sales. I was also tasked to do client calls with our employers based in the US and update them with the numbers related to sales generation.

[ March 2009 – September 2009] Technical Assistant for the Job Enabling Through English Proficiency Project (JEEP)

 I was part of a two man team helping to implement an English Proficiency Project funded by USAID all throughout areas in Mindanao, focusing on conflict driven areas. In a nutshell, the project recognizes the need for students to develop their knowledge in English to help get them get a better chance of finding employment in the areas of Allied Health and Nursing, Maritime Trade and Industry, The BPO Industry and Human Resources and Development.

 As a technical assistant I was given the task to process papers and reports, do travel logistics and planning, coordination with our subcontractors, planning for official visits by the US Ambassador to the JEEP sites and Project Monitoring in the areas of Bukidnon, Marawi City, Iligan City, Cagayan de Oro City and Zamboanga City.

 The project today, under a new management structure plans to expand with up to 20 Universities at the end of the year and still uses the same models that we first started.

Territory managers are responsible for monitoring and managing a sales force and properly assigning those sales representatives to areas throughout their territory. By constraining salespeople to work within territories, they must work with less profitable customers or prospective businesses, as well as the sales accounts that are most desirable. This ensures that personal attention can be paid to these customers and thus, increase the chance of sales. Also, assigning a single salesperson to a customer ensures that there is no overlap in coverage.
Improve Customer Service
Territory managers are responsible for improving customer service. Assigning sales responsibilities to a single salesperson helps ensure that all customers and prospects receive adequate, personal service. This serves to establish a dedicated sales base and strengthen relationships with customers. In a retail environment, territory managers oversee the customer service, sales and general workings of the stores within their territory. 2003 – 1st Mindanao Parliamentary Debate Union

 As the Director for Finance, I was single handedly responsible for the raising of funds through sponsorship, the procurement of materials, costing for communications and other cash disbursements needed for the said project.

2005 – General Santos Debate Tournament

 Through the initiative of Councilor Lourdes Casabuena and her project S.H.E.E.P. I helped organize and train teachers from different schools in General Santos City in the art of adjudication following the British Parliamentary format. I was also one of the adjudicators (judges) in the tournament that followed after the training wherein all high schools in General Santos participated in.

 In 2006, I was again invited to adjudicate in the Sarangani –GenSan meet. Through our efforts debate and issue awareness was spread even as far as Glan Sarangani. Next year, Project S.H.E.E.P plans to include Cotabato for the first SOCSARGEN Debate Tournament. 2006 – Ateneo de Davao High school Debate Coach

For the past two years, I have been coaching the Ateneo High school team in preparation for the National Debate Tournament held in Manila. Last year, the team that I coached emerged as the Regional Champions.

 As the Coach of the Ateneo High school, I also conducted several seminars on the basics of the British Parliamentary Format of Debate which has been adapted by several of the reputable high schools in Davao. Through this effort several debating teams representing their respective schools have been established or strengthened

I am an online English Teacher based in the Philippines. I currently handle a regular batch of  Korean and Chinese students. I would like to extend my working hours to include weekends, mornings and afternoons as I would like to do this full time.

I have experience with children and adult learners. I can give a structured lesson or should the student prefer, I can also engage in conversational English.
