About me

Hallo

My name is Okkie Butler. I am a South African teacher with a BA degree as well as two teacher's diplomas. I taught several subjects like History(Gr 12), using English as medium. I also served as a High School Principal at an English High School for seven years. I also spent 6 years as Head of Department at a Veldschool. That is environmental teaching(taking kids into nature). I am currently enrolling for a TEFL certificate, although I already have many years of teaching using English as medium.I am 61 years old and I would love to share all my experience with you. I feel passionate about empowering people with language and life skills. I like photography, fishing and travelling. I am looking forward to meet you!
