Introduction to Web Development
I have no formal education in Computer Science as I am self-taught. However, I have extensive startup experience working from the LLC registration of a site to what is now a large up-and-coming platform that is ready to raise some serious revenue. I also have worked on many side projects/other startups, as well as sometimes just automate home tasks using the benefits of technology.
I have attached my resume just in case anyone wants to check my credentials due to the lack of formal education.
Experience: 5 years
If you are struggling with web development, we've all been there. It is a common place to be and to be honest if I had never met my mentor I would not be where I am today -- the Lead Backend Developer of an Enterprise application for an up-and-coming startup.
Depending on your skillset, we can start with HTML + CSS + JS, just to make some basic static websites that you can build a foundation on.
If you are familiar with the basics but want to get into the meat of an application, the backend part that makes it work, we can jump right into that.
And if you have some experience building websites and want to learn how to make them scalable and learn better design practices, we can also use that as our foundation.
