As a Math tutor I strive to help students set their goals and work towards achieving them. I am committed to pass on my love for math and learning to all of them.
My teaching style I use is completely dependent on the particular student being taught. I'm a big fan of the adage "Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day , teach a man to fish and he will eat for the rest of his life." My objective is to enhance my students learning style and help them become independent learners.
My subjects are Geometry, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus , Trigonometry, Calculus, Differential Equation, linear Algebra and Statics. I'm willing to travel up to 25 miles to meet with a student.
Experience: 3 years
Calculus by far is my favorite subject to tutor. This is where Physics and Math come to play together. From basic algebra concept of slope we move to rate of change and derivatives to finally antiderivatives. All Calculus classes are about the same dual concept derivatives and antiderivatives. Calc 1 and 2 are used in 2 dimension space were you have a single variable. Calc 3 in contrast involves a three dimension space with two variables or more.
