About me

I am from London, England, where I grew up.  I am now based in Puerto Colombia in northern Colombia, where have been teaching English for the past 30 years to students of all ages and levels. 

I am widely travelled as I used to work as a Travel Representative for international tour companies.  I am also a former international road racing cyclist, I am also a keen sailor and winsurfer. 

I have studied modern languages and have a Master´s degree in Spanish and French from the University of St. Andrews.  In addition I have studied European Marketing, Languages Teaching, Journalism and Film Making. 

I try to making my conversation classes fun and interesting, adapting the conversation to the level and interests of my students.  I am very patient and understand that mistakes are very much a part of the learning process.  I will happily give advice and correction in order to help you perfect your mastery of the English language.  

I can also help coach you if you are preparing an oral presentation for work or school.
