I have a Spanish teaching certificate and am currently doing a master's degree in Foreign Language Teaching and Cultural Industries Management at the University of Languages in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
I have taught Spanish courses at the universities of Melbourne and Western Australia.
Near 5 years of teaching experience in Taiwan (Spanish and English) at high schools, cram schools, and tutoring.
Experience: 7 years
I focus on grammar and translations, from my experience as a learner, the more you understand grammar the more independant you become.
I can use English, Chinese, or Portuguese to explain and when I teach English or Portuguese speakers I focus on the grammar differences, for instance, the use of the definite article in English is almost the same as in Spanish therefore when I teach an English speaker I do not need to explain all the situations where we use an indefinite article, just need to talk about the situations where the use of the article is different.
