Education

I studied and graduated in Canada. I have also graduated from the Russian school system by taking lessons with private teachers.

I completed a TEFL course many years ago, but I still know how to provide students with the best possible approach when teaching.

Experience: 5 years

About me

Hello!

I’m Sara and I am a native English speaker from Canada. I have taught ESL before and I currently offer English lessons online.

Do you want to become fluent in English?

Do you want to increase your confidence when speaking English?

Do you want to improve your English class marks?

Do you want to prepare for an English exam?

Are you planning to travel to an English-speaking country and want to get the most out of the experience?

If you answered “yes” to any of the above questions, then I may just have the perfect solution for you. I offer both private and group online lessons, which focus on developing my students’ speaking skills. However, I can easily adapt my lessons to fit each individual student’s needs and interests.

Lessons are 1 hour long, with the first being a bit longer, so that I can evaluate the student’s level. I provide lesson plans and homework and the lessons can be done through audio or video call. Private lessons are 20 USD per hour and I offer a 50% discount for the first lesson. I also offer group lessons, which can be a more fun way for students to practice their skills. Groups can be 2-4 students and the lessons are 10 USD per student.

Possible activities include:

  • Storytelling
  • Silent conversations
  • Role playing
  • Listening comprehension activities
  • Examining current events articles/articles on other topics that interest the student
  • Speaking strategies
  • Many others

If you have any further questions and/or want to schedule your first lesson, you are more welcome to contact me.

I wish everyone luck with English!
