I have tutored for a total of 6 months, and have taught a wide range of students, from those aiming for the top grades to those struggling to pass. This includes one student with special needs, which was a challenging but invaluable experience. It made me a far more patient teacher, and allowed me to understand how different people learn, and how to adapt to those varying needs. This flexibility is now one of my main strengths. I like creating a new approach for each student that I meet. No matter what level you're at, and what approach you feel suits you best, I'm always happy to help.
Experience: 0 years
I graduated two years ago with a Master's degreebin Engineering Mathematics from University of Bristol, and have been tutoring Maths and travelling the world since. Maths is the only subject I've ever truly enjoyed doing. Even when the pressure was on in the build up to exams, I've always found its logical nature quite relaxing. I love the feeling of progressing from the point where a concept or question appears impossible to the point where it is routine, and being able to share that experience with a student is a wonderful thing. Most people looking for Maths tuition are struggling in some way, which often means they're not enjoying it. However, the satisfaction of difficult concepts clicking into place can completely reverse that attitude, and I love being part of that process.
