I have seven years tutoring experience. My inherent interest in mathematics has made me to be confident and to voluntarily tutor both an individual student or colleague student and a group of students. Having graduated with first-class honours, I did and I still do couch University students in my major-Math, especially in topics such as calculus, geometry, trigonometry, algebra. However, I have been teaching high school mathematics and physics for the last four years because I started teaching in the third year of my undergraduate education course at Kenyatta University, Kenya. This enabled me to gain a lot of experience as a prospective teacher. Now, I can easily and quickly employ various techniques in solving several challenges affecting my students as far as physics and mathematics are concerned. As a result of blending tutoring and teaching, I have helped very many weak students to excel in maths and even to join public universities.

The word 'basic' may sound to mean simple mathematics but to me, it is just but a foundation to understanding higher order mathematics. therefore, concepts should be well developed in a logical sequence and with illustrations to correct misconceptions and to boost morale of the learners. I have taught and tutor in this on several instances.
