About me

Hello Everyone

My name is Gerard and I'm from beautiful Canada. I'm interested in a part time/ full time teaching position. I'm TESL certified and I have overseas classroom experience. I'm currently living in Laos which is a very convenient time zone for teaching online in Asia. Presently I'm teaching students from China who I've taught for the past 3 months. I teach Kids and Adults of all ages, levels, and subjects. Some of the popular subjects include IELTS, and Medical English. Wide ranging subjects taught include; grammar, reading, writing, speaking, listening, pronunciation, idioms and slang, conversation and singing songs. Past employers have commented on my teaching style with a constant awareness of the student's interests, needs and abilities. I've developed an ability to quickly and easily connect with students through patience, a positive attitude and a great sense of humor.
