About me
As a native English speaker, I understand the process of language acquisition. I have mastered the skill of encouraging an English thinking student to think in Spanish. My unique approach demystifies the language by breaking the acquisition process into simple 1 hour lessons, catered to the needs of the student. After the first session I will discuss the goals of the student, and will develop a learning plan to assist him/her in reaching them.
Having minored in writing at Spelman College, I have a love for the process of creating a written work. I am able to assist with the entire writing process-from brainstorming to editing-or I can only review works for submission.
I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Spanish Literature from Spelman College. I have 5 years of professional experience tutoring and teaching, having matriculated through the state of Georgia’s teaching certification program.
