About me

I was born in 1988 in Thessaloniki and grew up in an artistic family.

At the age of 4 I started theoretical music studies at the Municipal Conservatory of Polichni (MCP).

A year later I began taking my first piano lessons with Prof. Despina Papadopoulou and then continued with higher courses at Contemporary Conservatory of Thessaloniki (CCT) until the Harmony degree in 2004 with Prof. Alexandra Zafiriou.

I then acquired my high school diploma in 2005 from the Music School of Thessaloniki (MST) where I studied further music material both in theory and piano.

In the same year I succeeded in entering the Music Department of the School of Fine Arts of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

After finishing my military obligations in 2013, I returned to graduate with a Master degree in Composition in 2014, supervised by the acclaimed composer Christos Samaras.

During my attendance, works of mine were played in the Vafopouleio Cultural Center and MCP.

I have participated in several ensembles such as music choirs of MCP and MST, MST Byzantine choir and various bands.

I attended teaching courses in music theory and actively participated in master piano seminars of Greek and foreign virtuosos and teachers.

I have been composing since the age of 8 and have acted in numerous solo concerts, in some of which my works were presented.

I have been playing the synthesizer since the age of 18 with which I embarked on a career, either solo or in bands, playing live music in places like music haunts, bars, hotels and banquet halls with Greek and foreign repertoire of various kinds, like instrumental, jazz, latin and rock.

For eight years I have been a member of a latin band, named “Blue Nile Thessaloniki”, with which I have played many concerts at several four- and five-star hotels and bars in Thessaloniki, Chalcidice, Pieria and Greek islands. Its repertoire consists of latin, afro, reggae, disco and ethnic music.

Someone meets my composition influences from Yanni, Genesis and Ryuichi Sakamoto.
